blank is a publication run by students of the institute for Art and Architecture of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
blank arises out of the need of establishing a (blank) space for everyone to express their ideas, to make our voices heard.
In order to convey our thoughts to a wider public and other students, we have decided to embody these voices into print.

We see it as a free space, a start, perhaps a challenge – an opportunity for sure.It is conceived as something neutral, but it’s not.
blank might be nothingness and emptiness; but it’s a potential to be filled.
