We find ourselves living in times of crisis. On a personal level, everyone experiences their own personal crisis and, at the same time, is exposed to a collective crisis. The contributions in this issue  approach, tackle, and contemplate this phenomenon from many different angles.

Meanwhile, on a different level, we were also questioning what it means to formulate a specific theme for a magazine that appears to be published once a year? Does it remain relevant by the time the next issue is released? To what extent are we up-to-date with our proposed framework for the entries? Perhaps some entries we rejected in winter would have turned out to be more relevant than the ones included?
